Great welcome drink and amazing staff, but navigating luggage storage was tricky.

it’s a hidden gem! Gorgeous grounds, super clean rooms, and the staff went above and beyond. Loved the breakfasts, especially the pancakes! Just a heads-up, getting there can be tricky, but totally worth it!

The reasons I’m conflicted

Incredible hospitality from the staff, especially Walter and the barman Ellie! The pool area and gardens were truly delightful, enhancing our relaxing experience.

Reaching the hotel was quite a hassle. the local bus required some navigation, leading to a stressful start to our stay.

The rooms were modern and very clean, but the taxi situation was frustrating.

The views from our junior suite terrace were breathtaking.

Unfortunately, reaching the hotel is quite a challenge since it is a bit far from the port and taxis can be very expensive. The bus is convenient, but navigating the local transport took some effort. the shower water was barely warm after a long day of exploring. Despite raising the issue with the management, I saw no improvement during my stay.

the staff were busy with their kids, totally ruining the adult vibe, it was more like a playdate than a getaway. the breakfast café next to a busy road? so charming. not to mention, after all the chaos, no complimentary gesture offered at check-in, like seriously? I almost thought about a good review but just couldn't.

The hotel features a delightful breakfast with a well-stocked buffet and the personal touch of having eggs cooked to order by Valentina, who was friendly and attentive.

The location is a bit challenging to access, with limited shuttle options which made transport into town somewhat difficult.

accessing the hotel is frustrating with closed gates and unresponsive intercom!!! The pool area turned into a chaos zone with kids running around, definitely not the tranquil escape advertised!!!

melrose relais is a true gem! the pool area is fabulous, and the gardens are beautifully manicured. the service was outstanding, especially from walter at reception. he made our stay delightful with his warm hospitality. the location is perfect too, with excellent local restaurants nearby.

Incredible views and a warm atmosphere

I recently had an amazing stay with breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples from my suite, especially during sunset. The staff went above and beyond, particularly the bartender who crafted delicious cocktails, making my evenings enjoyable. The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection to fuel my days of exploring nearby Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. the distance from the port made for a bit of a hassle when arranging transport.
